I remake over 500 new textures .
Texture are 16-36 times bigger than original doom 3 texture,
for example: if the original texture had resolution 256 * 256, now has resolution 1024 * 1024 or higher (sometimes specular map and height map is little lower resolution).
About 85%-90% textures is completely reconstructed (modeling in 3d max, baking, drawing),
about 10-15% textures is only rescaled and overlay other texture in higher resolution(some bricks, clothes).
Most textures has height maps, so looks rally wonderful with parallax occlusion mapping or relief mapping(but remember- POM or relief is very heavy for graphics card and generated some artifact on edge objects).
In the future I will try to add new textures.

My pc bluescreened while this was running..with sikkmod 1.1 with all the features turned on!


Error said Page_fault_in_nonpaged_area


sounds like i just dont got enough ram lol. Good textures though!

So these are completely compatible with relief mapping? If it's ok I'm gonna add these to my Perfected Doom 3 Texture Pack. You'll of course get the credit you deserve. Nice job. Keep going. Don't stop.

Can you show some pictures using relief mapping? Parallax Occlusion would bog the game down way too much with my mod included. I want to stick with relief mapping.

Are these supposed to be used with monoxead's texture pack? I didn't think his pack supported relief mapping.

Looks nice. :) I have a couple questions, though:

1) Why wasn't this texture pack released as a pk4?
2) Do I have to set my video settings to Ultra Quality for POM, like Sikkpin's mod?

I'm not trying to nitpick. It's just that I work out of a mod folder than already contains several mods (none that should conflict with this mod), and I like to keep the folder as clean as possible, and the graphical burden relatively decent (I prefer 'High' over 'Ultra'). So, I would like to know this before I install the mod, if you don't mind?
