hmm in the vidio tim willits say they're using hight dynamic range lightning...
how would be an exterior rendered in that technology? great technology! let's see how it's the gameplay! in wich part of the vidio do you found that hting that looking throught a glass distrotion thing? there is something else that looks like a trite.. remember that part where there is a UAC soldier that points a diurection for you, well there is another shot where it seems the smae uac soldier and a 4 foot thing passes infront of him. it's not an enemy because the soldier don't shot it. it maybe a friendly sentry?
i supose that doctor it's the cult leader? doctor btruger or whatever it's spelled? at least he looks eeeeviiil!
another unanswerable question pops me to the head.. why there are imps insoide glass tubes? that means UAC has opened hell's door other times? or maybe they send UAC marine squads in order to capture demons to create biological weapons (Like in ALIEN saga Wayland Yutani do) ? there si a part of a vido where there is a portal opened, a marien comes out and then two hellknights... maybe that's the exact point where all hell breaks loose? humm it could be scare to have to confront two hellknights at the beggining of the action!
there are some effects that i can't oimagine how are done... when the archvile teleports (waaah! archvile rocks!) he seems to have some lightning effects from mhis hands.. now lightnings arn0t a sprite. so it can't be particles. so how may be done? maybe htere is an option to create lightnings between two bones?
it sems archvile have the capcity to spawn more creatures...
I guess the zombie animation we all know where he wakes form the bed.. maybe it's not a bed. maybe its a authopsy table like the ones that appear in the vidio (at least it seems an authopsy table) htose are the same as the firs screenshot everpublished of thechainsaw, remember that shot with the zombie holding the chainsaw? i think those tables are that ones, nad maybe the zombie animation is prepared for thoise tables..

there are some reeally dark shots. some of them aren't incomprensible. there is a moment where the marine opens door nad a creature (that creature that looks like Gollum) apears. biut behind the door hell sems to be entred in the room.. well all imcan see is red and more red...
all the monsters seems to have ragdoll physyics now, i wonder how ragdoll physics will handle the dissapear effect of the biological parts as bna said.. i wonder if player blocks the ragdoll bodies. i hope he don't so like other games. because sometimes in the alpha if you aply ragdoll to all enemies sometimes you can go throught a corrideors because its full of zombie corpses! and thats a little bit anoying sometimes. other times player blocking the ragdoll phyisics can be fun! i hope that could be a key. "player blocks tthat ragdoll or not".. it's a shame we haven't seen yet that so talked glass breaking eefect. id members said it was so cool and carmack said it was a stupidity... we have seen brocken glass or glass in correct state but never breaking glass... maybe they cut that option.. or didn0t use it in the game but it stills in the engine?
hmm the aprt of the zombie with the wrench. seme sto be set in the same place thet everybody know s form doom.. it semes o be set in the bathroom, if thats the same place as in the alpha it has changed... i can't see i well. but if thats the same place and the zombie it's the same as the one in the alpha. well maybe he isn'0t holding a wrench maybe.. a bone. or some corpse part? :l
